Shipping policy

SHIPPING POLICY
Effective Date: 4 August 2025

This Shipping Policy governs the dispatch, carriage, and delivery of all physical bullion products sold by Woodbury Gold Vault Ltd (“the Company”) and forms an integral and binding component of every transaction entered into between the Company and the Customer (“you,” “your”). By placing an order with the Company, you expressly acknowledge, accept, and agree to be bound by the terms set forth herein.

1. DISPATCH AND FULFILMENT

1.1 The Company endeavours, subject to operational capacity and market conditions, to dispatch all confirmed and paid orders in a timely manner, generally within five (5) to ten (10) business days from receipt of cleared funds.

1.2 Any indication of dispatch timeframes is provided as a guideline only and does not constitute a binding commitment or guarantee. The Company shall not be liable for delays arising due to market volatility, supplier lead times, capacity constraints, or force majeure events.

2. DELIVERY METHOD AND COURIER SELECTION

2.1 All shipments are conducted using secure, fully insured, tracked, and signature-required courier services, selected at the sole and absolute discretion of the Company.

2.2 The Company retains the right to determine the most appropriate logistics provider and service level based on order value, destination, security profile, and regulatory requirements.

2.3 The Company may, at its discretion, consolidate multiple items into a single consignment or separate high-value items into multiple packages to mitigate risk.

3. DELIVERY ADDRESS AND CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

3.1 It is the Customer’s sole responsibility to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of the delivery address provided at the time of order.

3.2 The Company shall not be liable for failed or misdirected deliveries arising from incomplete, incorrect, or inaccessible delivery details.

3.3 The Customer must ensure that a suitable and authorised person is present to receive and sign for the delivery. Where applicable, government-issued photo identification may be required upon receipt.

4. INSURANCE COVERAGE

4.1 All shipments are insured to the full value of the goods in transit up until the point of confirmed delivery as evidenced by courier tracking or physical signature.

4.2 Risk in the Products shall pass to the Customer immediately upon delivery confirmation by the courier, irrespective of whether the Customer or a third party receives the package.

4.3 Claims for lost, damaged, or tampered parcels must be submitted in writing within forty-eight (48) hours of the recorded delivery. Failure to report within this timeframe may void the Company’s ability to investigate or process a claim.

5. SHIPPING FEES AND HANDLING CHARGES

5.1 Shipping fees are calculated at checkout and may vary based on destination, value, weight, and level of insurance requested.

5.2 Where applicable, the Company reserves the right to apply additional handling charges for high-value shipments, special insurance requests, international destinations, or regulatory compliance requirements.

5.3 Any customs duties, taxes, or import-related charges levied by the destination country shall be the sole responsibility of the Customer and are not included in the shipping fee unless otherwise stated.

6. RESTRICTED DESTINATIONS

6.1 The Company does not ship to PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or jurisdictions subject to UK trade embargoes or restrictions.

6.2 The Company reserves the right to decline orders destined for locations where secure insured delivery cannot be guaranteed or where legal or regulatory concerns prohibit shipment.

7. DELIVERY CONFIRMATION AND FINALITY

7.1 Once delivery is confirmed by courier tracking and/or signature, the transaction shall be deemed complete, and the Company shall bear no further liability for the parcel.

7.2 Customers are encouraged to unbox shipments promptly, retain all packaging for inspection, and notify the Company immediately of any discrepancies.
